About PCI

PCI's major customers are those with contractual support cover.  The main industry sectors currently covered are energy and hotel & leisure. 

Within the energy sector, Amerex has used PCI since the mid 1980's.  More recently, PCI became the contractual supplier on support services on all of Amerex's IT infrastructure, including computers, dealerboards, VoIP and non-VoIP telephone switching, covering the London and Monaco sites.  In 2003, PCI successfully moved Amerex from two London locations into their new offices in Haymarket.  This was done on the basis that staff left work on a Friday to return on the next working day at the new location with everything complete and operational.  PCI ran the complete project from floor design to the final move. 

Amerex Petroleum (UK) Limited has served the petroleum markets from London since 1981.  They provide brokerage services for the full range of petroleum instruments including physical cargoes, forward contracts, contracts for differences, options and swaps.  OTC Crude oil markets covered include the North Atlantic market (the North Sea Brent Market representing one of Amerex's core competencies), the Russian Urals market, the Arabian Gulf market and the Asian market.  Amerex's web site can be found at www.amerexenergy.co.uk.

Within the hotel & leisure section, PCI provides contractual cover for the Hatton Hotel Group (which includes Slak Limited) and Truspas Limited. 

With only a single exception, the hotel group has numerous sites with single PCs and a few with just two PCs.  The group has several hotels and pubs, with the main hotel having Microsoft Windows 2000 Server.  Hatton's web site is www.hatton-hotels.co.uk, Slak can be found at www.slak.co.uk.

At Truspas, PCI looks after the communications infrastructure between their four branches, as well as a Microsoft Small Business Server 2000 installation at HQ.  Truspas' website is at www.truspas.co.uk.

PCI's Support Services are ideal when a company does not want to employ it's own IT personnel or it requires additional resources or skills. 

Ad hoc services and product supply have been to host of different organisations over the years.  PCI's customers include many public sector sites - Her Majesty's Customs & Excise, Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Pollution (now the Environment Agency), the Office for National Statistics, English Nature, Leeds City Council and many corporations such as Ulster Bank, Mortgage Express, Innovations and Reed Publications.
